Private business jets by their precise nature are handy, luxurious, and a genuine delight to have the chance to fly on, in spite of this the number of executives and businesses opting to take a trip on a private plane has significantly grown largely because they perceive private aviation to be much more safe than that of commercial flying.

Rather than procuring a private plane, numerous business owners are looking to fractional jet ownership as it permits you use of a large selection of aircraft thus letting individuals that want to charter a business plane to acquire all of the benefits of owning a private plane without the repairs or employee overheads.

To further boost the safety of these planes, some jet businesses are only letting their pilots to fly one particular kind of aircraft.

These large fleets of aeroplanes each of which differ in shape, distance and speed and all have a different instrument blueprint and flight characteristics. As with any type of machine that you might perhaps have operated some time in the past, you will certainly know that it takes time to fully understand instruments and layout, and by only letting a pilot to fly one specific make of aircraft, you will never have to be anxious about the pilot being in a strange situation.

That is why when chartering a private aircraft; you should decide on a company that only allows their pilot to operate one specific sort of aircraft, thus guaranteeing that they are entirely familiar with their jet and controls, giving you the greatest safety possible.

By focusing on one specific sort of jet, whether it is a Hawker 440XP or the somewhat larger Gulfstream G550, you are safe in the truth that your pilot is prepared for every circumstance and possibility, and for that reason will react as fast as physically possible, thus guaranteeing the best possible safety levels for you, and your passengers.

Add this with an extensive maintenance crew looking after the aircraft range, and a tradition of regular tutoring and learning by the pilots, you can be 100% sure that flying privately is without a doubt the safest means of transport around these days. There has been a great deal of discussion regarding the two most popular gaming consoles currently on the market: Playstation 2 (PS2) and Xbox. PS2 is a Sony product, while Xbox is owned by the software giant Microsoft. Many different people have worked with these gaming systems inside and out, attempting to determine which system provides the best performance for your hard-earned gaming dollar. Here we take a look at each gaming system and compare the specs and performance of each. We will attempt to answer that age-old question: which is the better gaming system, Xbox or PS2?

You can take a look at a table comparing hardware specs here.

There are many specs in addition to the ones listed above, but these should give you some idea of just how close these two game consoles really are. If you are looking for pure processing power and graphics capabilities, the Xbox appears to have a slight advantage. In addition, its computer-like features, such as a built-in hard drive are nice to have. With the PS2 you must purchase a memory card if you run out of storage room. When comparing raw power and extra features, the Xbox wins – but you have to keep in mind that the PS2 was released first, and there are additional things to consider besides system specs.

What about Multi-player Capabilities?

Both the Xbox and PS2 have multi-player capability. You can hook up a series of both consoles so that you and your friends can play games together at the same time. The Xbox may be connected using a home LAN system, much like your home computers (here’s another example of how the Xbox is more like a specialized gaming computer). The PS2 may be connected using a link cable, not a LAN. This system may be cost prohibitive for some gamers, since you have to own multiple consoles, seperate TVs for each, and several copies of the same game (yep, that’s expensive).

Of course, you can always ditch the local network and play through the internet. Bboth PS2 and Xbox allow you to play online against a random assortment of opponents. Xbox uses Xbox live, a fairly well supported online gaming network. PS2’s network is not as popular as Xbox Llive, but it works fairly well all the same. If you are really into multi-player, it seems that Xbox is probably the best console for you.

Xbox Games vs. PS2 Games

When deciding which of these two game consoles is best for you, you should certainly take into consideration what types of games each offers, and which games you are most interested in playing. PS2, having been around a little while longer, tends to have the larger game library, but Xbox is not terribly far behind. In addition, Xbox tends to produce games geared more towards adults than children. The graphics seen on the new Xbox games are also clearly a step ahead of PS2 graphics. There is, however, nearly a PS2 game for everyone, and there are lot of PS2 games geared towards teenagers. If you are looking for games for kids, the Nintendo Gamecube may actually be a better choice than either of these two – and it’s cheaper.

Other Considerations

Some other things you may want to consider when comparing PS2 and Xbox is the controller provided by each. These may not seem like a big factor at first glance, but people usually prefer one type of controller over the other. The Xbox controllers tend to be slightly larger than PS2, mainly because Xbox is designed with older gamers in mind. You can always buy a converter in order to get one game console controller to work with another.

As far as price goes, PS2 has typically been cheaper than Xbox. As of the time of this writing (Dec. 2004), PS2 retails for about $150 and Xbox $100. Game prices are very similar for both game systems, with most new games costing about $30 – $50.

The bottom line is, PS2 is a little older than the Xbox, and is geared for a younger gaming crowd. If you are buying this console for a teenager, the PS2 may actually be your best bet – they have more games, the console is cheaper, and the games are more appropriate for that age group. The Xbox is a little more expensive, has fewer games, but it out-performs PS2 and has more adult-oriented games.

“You had me at hello,” those famous words from the movie Jerry McGuire let Tom Cruise know that Rene Zellweger’s character was hooked from that point and the rest of his talking was unnecessary. When in networking situations, many small business owners leave people with a slightly different feeling. If questioned for the truth, what would likely be said is, “you bored me at hello!” That is definitely not a great way to grow your business into a powerful name brand. Networking works, but not if you leave your prospects bored.

Networking opportunities are everywhere. You can find them at Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau events, not to mention when you are in line at the grocery store. There are even groups of people who regularly meet solely for the purpose of networking. Unfortunately, all of the networking opportunities in the world will not help grow your business unless people remember you and your company after you are gone.

Here are three strategies to avoid boring people during your next networking opportunity:

1) Gone in Thirty-Seconds – Attention spans are getting shorter and shorter. Any longer than thirty seconds for your “elevator speech” and you will be tuned out. People cannot sit through a thirty-second commercial without changing the channel on the television. Your business will be treated the same way. They will start thinking about what they need to pick up on the way home or other random thoughts. Many times, they are simply waiting for you to stop talking so they can try to sell you on their business. Your brand message must be short, simple and to the point. If you ramble too much, the person will start feeling like Charlie Brown in school – “wahwah, wah wah wah,” “yes ma’am.”

2) Red or Black – Pick a color. Roulette gives you the option of betting on red or black. If you bet red, you win when it hits on any red number. Winning is good. If it hits on any black number, you lose. Losing is not so good. However, when you “hedge” and bet on red and black together you are guaranteed to not win. In a networking situation, limit what you talk about. Sure, you are risking leaving out something the prospect would like to hear. However, unless you get lucky and mention it first, the odds are that you will lose their attention by then anyway. Limit the scope of your brand, or say everything and be remembered for nothing.

3) Listen – That’s right, you are remembered more when you listen. Most of us go through our day fighting to be heard. It feels really good to be acknowledged and understood. So good that we automatically think highly of the person listening to us. Listening demonstrates that you value the person talking. Sincerely listen to what the other person has to say and they will leave with high regard for you and your business.

There ya have it, networking success as simple as 1, 2, 3! Follow all three strategies and you are sure to notice a sharp improvement in your networking. Before you know it, you will leave your future clients saying “you sold me at hello!” Now, those types of responses build a powerful brand!

During interviews and general conversations with the public, one of the most difficult questions for me to answer(timely and thoroughly) is,”Why do you enjoy writing”?

So due to the challenge manifested in such a question,I pondered on creating an answer. Many reasons came to mind, but after digesting much”time for thought”,I managed to condense my response to three items. I enjoy writing for three reasons: self-expression,personal sensitivity and thirst for adventure.

“Self-expression” is our Creator’s gift to all-everyone has something to say. The difference comes with how a person expresses him or herself. Having an outlet to relieve ones inner turmoil or joy is necessary;and when the results is a wholesome creation of some type,it should be shared with others.Complexity arises when trying to express how others feel because a person’s self-expression(being a writer) is a prerequisite to understanding another’s expression(being an editor). There’s an interwovenness of personal feelings, dogma and personality associated with a person’s self-expression. Much of what writers’ convey is the result of the chemistry of feelings, experience or both. Most of the time the writers’ feelings prevail.Deep down in all of us there are voices whose vocal chords are pencils waiting to be sharpened and used. Self-expression is the breath of opinion, the dissipation of disposition and the only river worth drowning in. “Honesty” rules the castle of “self-expression”.

“Personal sensitivity” varies from person to person. Much of a person’s ethical, ethnical, moral and environmental exposers dictates his or her perception of the world. Some writers concentrate only on a certain discipline of their total resources. Others are more roaming and experimental as to absorb from a combination of all sensations obtained. Inspiration ignites sensitivity whether it be something heard, felt or read. To be able to define a sensation by the use of words is satisfying. Sensations make, break, increase and decrease the rhythms of ones mental and physical compositions. Ones “degree of compassion” rules the castle of “personal sensitivity”.

The “thirst for adventure” deters boredom. Anyone, whether being a writer or not, imagines events, incidents, possibilities and probabilities in their minds. These mental occurrences(visions) dwell within us for short periods of time and sometimes forever. But until the inspirations are subjected to some type of tangible(music, painting, literature, sculpture, etc.)medium, they can’t be documented and shared with others. If you don’t want to be creative, you won’t be!! Good writers aren’t born, they are crafted!!! You are the characters that you write about!! You’re a vital part of the incidents you describe. If you’re writing about a diehard tyrant, you are that tyrant!! If it’s a voyage around the world, you’re on that voyage!! Merely sitting in the boat won’t do it!!! One must set sail to quench the “thirst for adventure”.

Writers are day-in day-out dreamers, dressed in all colors, travelling across paper pulp by way of a dictionary.

Now I ask you,”Why do you enjoy writing”?

Purchasing a car seat for your baby is undeniably one of the most important decisions a parent will have to make in their child’s early years. Every father continually wants to take care of their daughter and will therefore do whatever it takes` to ensure their child’s welfare. Additionally, the law demands the permanent use of baby car seats. With plenty of baby car seats to obtain, it can certainly be a tough choice. Yet, armed with some information you can find the most suitable baby car seat for your son or daughter.

A rear facing seat is the very first seat your son or daughter will need. Rear facing baby car seats offer plenty more protection for a kid’s head, neck, and spine than forward facing baby seats. Rear facing seats are certainly the safest until the toddler has grown to the maximum weight for the seat or until where the top of the child’s’ head is above the top of the baby car seat in question.

The next chapter of baby seat is a forward facing seat, which can be used by kids aged nine months four 4 years of age or when the kid weighs anywhere between nine and 18 kg. This particular type of seat includes a harness that attaches between the baby’s legs in order to prevent them from sliding out of the seat when in the car. Your toddler should also stay in this car seat until they have reached the seat’s maximum weight limit or when the top of their head is higher than the top of the seat. Choose from a large selection of baby & child products including; car seats, babywear and cot beds from leading brands online.

For a seat that can be utilised both rear and forward facing, the Britax First Class Plus seat is a good option to purchase. Britax seats are always highly rated and what’s more this seat can be utilised from birth to four years of age, and follows the rear and forward facing guidelines as described earlier.

The booster seat is the very last phase in car seats. These generally do not include a strap as standard and can be used with a vehicle’s seat belt, which fastens around both the kid and the seat. Some booster seats come with removable backs, which allow for a better fit for younger kids, and can even be taken out as the kid gets bigger. Bumper seats with side wings offer much more safety in a crash than those without because they safeguard the baby’s head. Maxi Cosi car seats provide a seat with all these options.
