Ive got to say, if you ever have the opportunity to make it to Waikiki, you should absolutely take the opportunity. It has to be one of the most pretty places in the US. What a blessing it is to have such a wonderful location in our country.

The hospitality there is magnificent. We took a surf lesson, rode a canoe, caught a few hula demonstrates and even had a chance to try out some real Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow night cap at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening cocktail. One of the most memorable aspects was when we treated ourselves to a massage in Honolulu. It was stunning, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.

Honolulu is rare. Don’t concentrate that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Determine what is most important to you and concentrate on that. Take time to relax and savor just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.

But unlike a lot of modern snowboarding resorts Chamonix town isn’t a souless ski area and has largely been preserved from the concrete resorts which blight a lot of the Alps. It is blessed with not only a world renowned skiing domain but a cosmopolitan and bustling town centre.
