I`ve had people come to me and say “Traffic Exchanges are useless, and I don`t have time to click anyway”, or they`ll say “There are too many of them, and I find it all overwhelming”

Here`s what I say: Ok, the traffic may not be 100% targeted visitors, but somebody, somewhere just MIGHT like your product, affiliate program, salespage etc.

The more traffic you get, the more likely you are to actually find those people. First of all, whatever you do, don`t just jump onto any old traffic exchange, read it thoroughly, make sure you get at LEAST a 2:1 credit ratio, which basically means: you visit 2 websites, in exchange for one visitor to YOUR chosen website.

Next, join 4 or 5 good traffic exchanges,. Read everything you can about using the program, so you know you won`t be breaking the rules.

Now on to the hard work bit: Lets call the chosen exchanges A, B, C, D and E. Pull up notepad, copy/paste your referral links to the 5 programs into it (ctrl+c to copy, ctrl+v to paste). Do the same with your surfing links, (sometimes known as startpage links), and make sure you DON`T confuse the two.

You need to plug each Traffic Exchange into the other to create a circle. (example: where it asks for website put program A into program B, B into C, C into D, D into E, and finally E into A)

So now, each traffic exchange is promoting one of the others. The reason for this is to build your downlines in the various exchanges. Why work hard for traffic if you can get others to work for you?

Ok, next step can be tedious, but if you`ve chosen the right traffic exchanges, it can be kinda fun too. Open the 5 programs, using your Surf/Startpage link.

Click away at all 5 of them vigorously, say at least 30 minutes per day, for maybe 3 weeks. This SHOULD start building your downlines in the various exchanges. If it doesn`t work at first, keep trying until it does. The key here is to never give up.

Once you have a good enough downline (in YOUR opinion), and your downlines are creating traffic for you, log back into the programs, change the website link to whichever program it is you REALLY want to promote.

Don`t expect your downline to build ALL of your traffic, you may still have to “click” yourself for a while, but with time, that will change. In my favourite programs, my downlines are getting me 1000 pageviews per day.

That`s 5000 pageviews, on average, per day for free, and I rarely click at all any more. Maybe every once in a while just to keep my accounts active, depending on the programs rules.

Give it a try, and as I said before: Don`t give up! Have Fun!

Let me tell you a secret – - Press Releases work and can get massive traffic to your website. And they get you noticed on the net and off the net and can lead to many new open doors to market your products. Let me explain how.

I have written many press releases, you can actually check them out by doing a search on Google or Yahoo for “Jeff Mills Coastal Vacations.”

I wrote them as though some one else was writing them about me or the companies I was trying to promote.

Write your press releases like a newsworthy event, and not an ad. Put quotes in there. Quote yourself, and look like an expert. BE the expert.

Quote others and look like a reporter, telling good information from a reliable source.

Mohammed Ali was once asked, “How did you get to become the greatest Boxer of all time?”

Ali answered, “Because I started telling people I was the greatest and that I was so pretty!”

Having a press release makes you an expert, authority, and respected.

Because of Press Releases mentioned above, I have been selected to be on TV shows, and also been on Radio. Plus my releases are getting my message out all over the internet, telling people about what I am so passionate about, in fun and interesting ways.

How exciting huh?

Using press releases, I have generated a solid 6 figures in only 15 months promoting my home business career opportunities on the net.

As a former Youth Pastor, now a Minister in the Marketplace, I was making $36,000 a year. But using press releases, I was able to get so much publicity, that I currently have turned my old yearly Youth Pastor salary into my monthly one. This income explosion was because of the search engine exposure that my press releases garnered.

All that income came from many tiny little press releases.

Another great thing about press releases is they get your URL’s all over the search engines IMMEDIATELY. Yes, Immediately. No waiting 3-6 weeks or even 6 months. My releases get indexed in 24 hours.

Usually Google and Yahoo News and their main sites index my releases on page one. I even have had some #1 listings which were just press releases.

** When is the Best Time To Submit a Release?

I like to submit them on Thursdays and Fridays, so they are released on Saturdays and Sundays in the media. There is a two day delay if you use PR Web. My strategy is not for media publication, which might include my release being put in magazines, or newspaper, but mainly for Search Engine Optimization. I want an online audience to find me, not an offline.

If you marketing strategies would work well with offline exposures, then by all means, take use of that advantage if a reporter comes calling.

When using a service like PR Web, the competition for #1 or a top 10 listing on page one of PR Web’s MAIN website is LESS on weekends too, as people are not paying top dollar to be there on Saturdays and Sundays, when media people are not working traditional 9-5 jobs.

** What Are the Elements to be Included in Your Press Release

Title
Subhead
Body
Keywords
Contact Info

TITLE

Your title should be keyword rich, with the specific niche you are marketing to. Try for the first 5 words to be your keywords you want the press release optimized for. Do some keyword research, using www.goodkeywords.com to see what people in your niche are most looking for and also buying for. Add those popular keywords into your title.

Use good copywriting titles of the past, and modify them to fit you. Many great long copy style “direct response” sales letters have wonderful titles and headlines which you can modify and borrow.

SUBHEAD

Your subhead should also be keyword rich, repeating some of the main keywords found in the title, but telling a little more info in 2-3 sentences. This is where you summarize what your PR is going to talk about.

BODY

Your body must contain a great story, which makes readers want to read it. It can be short or long, but add relevant keywords and keyword phrases to it which will help optimization. You might want to have your keyword or key phrases mentioned 4-7 times in your release.

The length of your release should be 100-500 words. Some services take more words than that, but if you can do a power punched release with all the goods in it and make the media take notice, do make it short. They get a lot of releases coming across their desks daily.

Include the basics in your body which one would find in everyday newspaper articles.

Who
What
When
Where
Why
How

Tell a story and speak to the news media, don’t sell to them. Don’t make your press release, “Press Release Spam or PRSpam.” Don’t make it an ad and try to sell the product or service in your release. The idea is to make them curious, and want to go to your sites, find out more, where you can collect a lead or make a sale there.

Don’t use words like “You can make money”. Use words like “One can make money…” Speaking in the right “person” makes it legit. Watch how you use, “I said, you said, or he/she said.”

Also ad your website URL in the body if you can, and it is relevant.

KEYWORDS

Usually you can select 5-10 keywords, depending on which services you are using, which are the ones you used in your press release content, which helps get you listed for them with Search Engine Optimization, and that will bring you targeted niche traffic.

CONTACT INFO

And the Contact info, should be a website, or phone # where a media outlet can call you back for more on the story to cover you in their news media.

** CAUTION:

I was talking to one friend the other day, who promotes an online MLM opportunity from a Nutritional Company and he was in trouble because the company he represented did not allow press releases to be published with out permission, and he got a call from the CEO because he sent something out there and did not know it was against the company policy. Lucky for him, they just gave him a warning!

So, be sure what you are writing about is okay and always get permission first from a compliance department if you are not the owner of the company or representing something or someone else.

If you are the company owner, you can ask yourself for permission. 

If you would like to write about a newsworthy event of another company and use their publicity to get you publicity, please ask permission first.

** How to Write Press Releases

Do a search for keywords similar to yours and read how others have written their releases to get more of an idea how to write yours. www.prweb.com has a search box, which you can type in your keywords and see the patterns, flows and styles of similar press releases.

Also, after you write your release, do this… goto www.elance.com or www.freetranslation.com and hire a translator to translate it into Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, or any language of a country where you can market your product.

Then take the translated work back to PRWEB and submit it to the language or country of choice and get a handful of international interest.

In closing, writing a press release is a surefire way to get newsworthy info about you or your business listed quickly in the search engines, usually as soon as 24 hours and listed in the top 10 listings on page one for the related keywords people are searching for.

Jeff Mills is a former Youth Pastor, now called a “Minister in the Marketplace,” who has created a six figure income from the net, offering people lucrative career opportunities. He is a coach, author, and avid traveler who loves to go to the best beaches and surf all over the world.

The beauty of ezine advertising is that it’s the most targeted form of advertising on the internet. If, for example, someone has subscribed to an ezine about fishing, then they are expressing a strong interest in fishing equipment, tips on improving their skills, travel packages, and an endless list of other possibilities.

This is why ezines are such a good choice. As long as your ad relates closely to the theme of the ezine, the person reading your ad is already halfway toward buying what you have to offer.

There are three types of ads that you can place in your chosen ezine: a classified ad, a sponsor ad, and/or a solo ad.

The classified ad is the smallest and least expensive. This three to five line ad is often run in a block with other classified ads, one on top of another, similar to a page of classified ads in your local newspaper. This contains just a brief description with an email or link to your web site. This costs a few dollars, generally about half the cost of a sponsor ad.

A sponsor ad is placed at the top of the ezine, often under a heading like: “Please support our sponsor.” This ten to fifteen line ad will draw more attention since it is the first thing the reader sees when the email is opened. This is priced around twenty dollars.

The most effective, and naturally the most expensive, is the solo ad. This is not part of the ezine, but instead goes out as an email to everyone on the mailing list. The message is all about you and your product or service. This ad can be as long as 700 words, allowing you to go into great detail, and will cost in the neighborhood of forty to fifty dollars, about twice the cost of a sponsor ad. However, some of the larger ezines may ask for hundreds or even several thousand dollars for a solo ad.

Once you’ve written your ad and chosen an ezine, the best way to proceed is to think like an educator. The most effective teaching method is repetition. Experienced teachers will cover the same information in several different ways. They might lecture one day, followed by a reading assignment and discussion, and then an essay, all on the same topic.

Very few people learn something thoroughly the first time they see it. And few people respond to an ad the first time they see it. Since you are trying to educate and motivate your target audience, you want them to see your ad more than once.

This is best done by first running a solo ad, then running a sponsor ad in the next two or three issues of the same ezine. Finally, for the next five to seven issues run a classified ad. The readers will see your ad for many weeks and begin to understand the message and warm up to your offer. They need time to mull it over, compare products and prices, and decide if they really need it. Give them time, educate them, and they will buy.

There’s no shortage of ways to spend money promoting your online shop – and certainly no shortage of people willing to take your money! However, search engines can be sending you qualified customers all day every day. How do you get a piece of this traffic? It’s estimated that 70% of people stop at the first 10 results in most search engines and over 90% don’t go beyond the first 30. If your shop isn’t in the top of the search results, you’re missing out. We’ll go through the five steps to getting you higher in the search engine rankings.

Choose the right keywords
You need to decide which search term(s) you want to be top for. This might not be as obvious as you think. Firstly, you need to know what people are (and aren’t) searching for. Being the number 1 result for a search term no one uses is no
good. The Overture keyword selector tool can show you what people are searching for. Take some guesses as to what people are
looking for, try them out and see what the tool says – you might be surprised! Do a
Google search for a possible keyword. If, for example, you see 5,000,000 results returned you have to consider: can you beat 4,999,990 of them? You might be better off getting a number 1 position for a lesser keyword than a number 200 for a big one.
Be careful not to be too ambitious – that keyword with the most traffic might be
highly competitive in the search engines. If you are competing against a
multi-million dollar online shop you’re unlikely to win.

Make sure your site is search engine friendly
The goal here is to make sure the search engines like your shopping cart site. You might need some help from your techies with this.

Create a sitemap pointing to all your pages, or all your key pages. This helps the search engines find all your pages.

Include your keywords in your HTML title tags in all your key shopping cart pages.

Include your keywords in a h1 tag.

If your shopping cart or CMS uses session IDs in the URL, turn this off, or change to a different tool. You can usually tell if you have this turned on if you URL looks like http://www.widgets.com/products/page.php?product=2329&session=29dha9198yfka8129fnv0. The big long session number is the dangerous part.

Make your HTML code clean & validated – most search engines prefer this.

Make sure your keywords are included in the copy on your site.

Some shopping carts such as Erol or osCommerce (with an add on module) provide excellent search engine optimization tools.

Get links
It’s no secret – most search engines love sites that have lots of links pointing at them. Get your customers & suppliers to link to you. This is the single most important thing you can do. There are companies that specialize in
helping you get links – look them up if it’s important to you.

Watch your traffic
If your web host provides you with web statistics, then check them closely. Probably the most popular web statistics software is AWStats. This provides information on what people are searching for when they arrive at your site. This data is gold. Find out what people are looking for, and make sure that they can get it – easily!

Content, content and more content
Search engines love content – the more content the better. Detailed product descriptions, articles relevant to your product line, whatever, the search engines love it. So start writing, it’s not as hard as it looks!

Lastly, be patient. Search engines operate in their own time and results can
take months to show. If this is an important area for you, consider enlisting a
professional which can save you a lot of time. However, there is a lot of
helpful resources and if you want to do the work yourself, roll up your sleeves,
work hard and watch the customers pour in every day.

Let me ask you a question. What is the most important thing in running a business? Well, obviously selling. Right? Wrong! This is like stating that the most important thing in life, its purpose, is breathing.

Yes, you need to breath to survive, to live, but breathing is not the most important thing it is a prerequisite. Unless you have found a purpose in life you won’t reach your goals because you have none.

The most important thing in business is goals, a strategy and then comes selling.

Having said this, let us have a look at selling. What is selling anyway? Selling is the exchange of wealth. Selling is giving someone something she desires and receiving something you desire. Your customer, or client for this matter, must be willing to give you more in wealth back than you put in to produce your product or service.

Hey, why do you always talk about wealth instead of money? Because most of us do not realize anymore that money is a derivate for wealth. Money is just green pieces of paper with famous people printed on it. What makes money precious is that we, the society agreed to accept it to exchange wealth. It is a way to measure wealth. Nothing less and nothing more.

Listen, you put some sort of energy in developing or producing a service or product. That takes time and resources. The time you use for preparation you can not use to find food for example. If we had no money or hadn’t invented the exchange of goods, you might end up starving. What you actually do is you put some of your wealth away from the needs of the day and put it into something else, your product. Because we have money, and hopefully you have some as well, we can do that easily. If we are hungry, we just take some of the stored wealth we have – some bucks that is – and exchange it for our favorite burger or tacos. it is that simple. Money is stored wealth. And business is about gaining wealth not loosing it.

Selling is simply the exchange of wealth. I said it before but like to repeat it here just to emphasis it a little more.

Now, if business is about gaining wealth, how do we gain wealth by selling? We do so buy asking for more wealth to exchange the good than we had to put into producing it. The price – the amount of wealth we ask for – must be higher than the cost – the amount of wealth we put into building the good. The difference between price and cost is called the margin and is the measure for how much your wealth increases once you exchanged it for the asking price.

Only having a good of any kind doesn’t increase your wealth. If you have the worlds best ice maker and can not sell it at a price and frequency high enough to increase your wealth, all the effort(wealth) you put into producing it is literally “on ice”. Means the wealth you put in is virtually existent but you can not use it unless someone else is willing to buy.

I know this all sounds obvious and very common. But let me ensure you that common sense is not very common at all. Most people do not look at business as a wealth creating machine and at money as a wealth replacement. Money is not magic. Wealth is.

So you have your great product or service developed. How to find costumers? What are potential customers?

Potential customers are people with a perceived need for your product and service that is desirable enough for them to pay the price you ask for.

So forget the “millions of potential customers are waiting out on the net for you becoming affiliate 234,678 for “how to get rich scheme” number 1,233,412.

Get me right, i am not telling you these schemes are all scam. Some, maybe most, provide valuable information. What I say is that it is not sufficient to become source number 299,123 where potential clients can buy it.

Why? Because you do not add value. Even if you could increase the traffic to your web site tremendously – which rarely happens anyway -, you miss the most important factor in your calculation, focused visitors.

You might even get some of your visitors to buy. Do you want to base your business success on picking morsels? I doubt this to be a strategy for long term success.

Opt-in lists are even worse than traffic increase. Think about it, Increasing traffic means basically you get a higher visibility on search engines, which in turn means your chances for picking some more morsels rise. But, opt-in list advertisement doesn’t give you this visibility at all. You advertise basically to people that don’t even read your ads.

Why? Because most opt-in lists pay their subscribers – yes that’s right – to receive those mails. Most opt-in list subscribers have not interest in all in any of the products advertised. There desire is to get 4 cents for every email they click at. End of story.

It is like some newspaper would pay you to subscribe to it. If that would ever happen, I would subscribe to every newspaper i could get a grip on. And every issue would end up unread in my bin.

Bottom line is, unless you have something to offer that is desired by someone else and you can find a way to get in front of her with your offer constantly, you are not going to make a lasting business out of it.

You simply can not buy prospects. Though you can buy visibility. But visibility without a target in mind and a strategy to keep them coming over and over again, is still useless at best. At worse it costs you a lot of money you could use much better to sit down and develop a real working strategy on how to find the people that desire your product or service and how to keep them comming.

But let me finish with the good news. There is an abundance of people that have desire for almost any product you can think of. You only have to find a way to get in front of them. The Internet is a great place to achieve this, but it does not work as an instant money machine.

There are so many success stories you will hear about businesses making it good in the internet. The troubling thing is, there are maybe a tenfold or even a hundredfold of stories contradictory to theirs. Many have unsuccessfully launched a business enterprise that is internet based but only a handful shall succeed.

Is this through luck? That is even more remote. It takes good business sense and a lot of help and team effort. Most importantly, it is the eagerness to succeed and the determination to learn and the willingness to invest in a lot of hard work and some money.

The Very Basic

Like Neo, traffic is “The One”. Without traffic, all your effort would just go to waste. Every business needs customers, without them you wouldn’t have anyone to sell your products to. In the internet world traffic is the walk in customer. The more traffic you have the more people would be able to sell your products to.

But like any business that’s in every corner building or in the mall, not everyone that goes in will buy, but the greater of number that do come in to browse your merchandise, the greater number of people that will buy your products. It is a simple and known fact.

But, how do you get traffic, traffic large enough that could make a small percentage of eventual buyers enough to make a good profit. Many big companies generate traffic of tens of thousands a day and a measly ten to fifteen percent actually buys, but that small percentage is enough to provide them with good business.

Many of these success stories get their traffic from paying others. Yes that’s right; you have to spend money to make money. Advertising is the key. The more people that knows that your site exists; the more people would of course go to your site, that’s common sense.

While there are many ways that can get you advertising for free, this do not generate the same high volume as those methods that are getting paid. These paid advertisements include advertising schemes by Google and Yahoo.

The Value of Searches

The search and will be the easiest and fastest medium in finding what a person needs in the internet. Search engines have been very popular because they provide a vital service to many people. They are free and easy to use. With this popularity, they get many visitors and clicks that they are the most common sites that people go to. It is easy to understand why so many companies would pay to advertise with these search engines.

Search engines provide information to the millions of users that they have each day. They provide links to many sites that a user may be looking for. If your sites link pop up in the high ranks of the search results page, you get a great chance that they will go to your site. While search engine optimization is a cheaper and low cost way to get your site a high rank, paying for advertisements will ensure that you will be on the top ranks.

When you pay for your advertisements, it is like paying for your traffic. This may sound like not such a good idea, but the payoffs would tell a different story. When you pay for your traffic, you are guaranteed of a consistent traffic flow to your site. You will never go with an empty sales day.

Paying for your Traffic

Usually, you will be charged with the number of hits a link gets when your ads is clicked, this is called pay per click. For some search engines, you will be charged with the number of times your ad shows up when a certain keyword or keyword phrase is searched. It is imperative that you have good keyword content in your ad. There are many tools that aid you in using the right keyword for the right moment.

All the money you spend in paying for your traffic will not be for naught. You will get an impressive boost in traffic which will also result to a great boost in your sales figures. Paying for your traffic would be a really good idea and you will get all the benefits it has to offer.

Would you like to get unlimited viral traffic to your site, for free?

It sounds too good to be true, of course. Many companies will promise to do this for you. The catch – you have to put a banner ad, text link or popup on your page. This is not a good deal as it will increase your traffic by only 1% to 2% on each level. Furthermore, it involves the hassle of an affiliate programme.

However, it is possible for you to get free viral traffic to your site using the visitors you have. All you have to do is make it easy for them to tell their friends about your site. (Note that this tactic may not work if your site is a boring one and your visitors have no intention of telling their friends about your site.) Normally, it is too much trouble to shoot off an email. Therefore, if you want news of your site to spread rapidly by word of mouth, you must make it easy for your visitors to refer their friends to your site. The easiest way to do this is using a form. All they need to do is fill in their name, email, and the emails of a few friends, then hit the button. A quick email will be shot off to their friends with a link to your site. To have this kind of form, all you need is a HTML editor to make the form and a script to process the mailing.

The easy part is making the form. However, having a script to process the mailing is far harder. This will definitely create plenty of problems for you, unless you find a free service which will provide the mailing script. Also, it would be nice if that service could throw in a free form-building tool.

There is no shortage of such services; but most of them cleverly include a banner ad as part of the form built for you. Having seen many such services, I have made one which DOES NOT force you to put an unwanted ad on your page!

Enter TechnoSoft21 ViralTraffic, the all-new free service which provides a form-builder and a form processing script to anyone who needs it. All you need to do is head to the site, fill out a form which generates the code for you, then copy and paste the code into your own website. When you view your site, you will see that it DOES NOT have a banner ad or any other ad on it! You will be ready to get the tidal wave of traffic to your site! To get started, just go to http://www.technosoft21.com/viraltraffic/

P.S. If for some reason or another you don’t want to use TechnoSoft21 ViralTraffic, you will probably have to construct your own form processing script in FrontPage WebBots, PHP, CGI, Perl, C, AppleScript, Python or another language. (TechnoSoft21 ViralTraffic is powered by PHP scripts.) It’s tough work, but it’s fun. If you’re game enough… go for it!

The number one question among webmasters is “How can I increase the number of visitors to my website?”. There are several ways, but adding content to your site is the most effect method there is. This article explains why and how to do it.

Like all webmasters, the reason you created your website in the first place is so that people (visitors) can see what you have to offer. Maybe you simply wish to share your thoughts and opinions on a weblog. Perhaps you want to use your website as a “billboard” for your brick-and-mortar business. Or maybe you want to sell tons of widgets and make a living on the Internet.

Whatever your motivation for building your site, you won’t achieve your goals without building a steady flow of traffic to it! There is one “best” thing you can do that will help you increase the flow of visitors to your site (and keep them coming back time and again): Add new content on a regular basis.

How does adding new content help build traffic? Here are three ways:

1 – More content helps boost your search engine rankings, and higher search engine rankings mean more visitors will “find” your website when they search for what you’re offering. In general, larger sites fare better in the search engines than smaller sites, for various reasons.

2 – More content (meaning more pages) provides more “roads” into your site from the search engines. Having hundreds or thousands of pages means there are hundreds or thousands of varied search terms that your site will come up for in the search results. This means instead of your site being “found” when just two or three relevant searches are made, it will be found under hundreds or thousands of search terms!

3 – Fresh content will keep your current visitors coming back to your site to see “what’s new”. Any business owner will tell you it’s cheaper to keep a customer you already have than it is to
acquire a new one. The same principle applies on the web.

Adding fresh content on a regular basis is the true secret to expanding your traffic levels. You’ll receive more and more new visitors all the time, and they’ll keep coming back!

So how do you go about adding new content? First of all, set a goal of adding at least two new articles to your website each and every day. Two articles per day isn’t much really, but it adds up to 730 new pages per year. That’s at least 730 new “roads” into your site from the search engines!

So where do I get the content to add to my site? The best place to find new content is inside your head – write articles about a topic that’s related to the overall theme of your site. Spend a few minutes a day doing some research on the web. Remember, Google is your friend. Just be sure you don’t plagiarize (copy) someone else’s work. Not only is it unethical, it’s quite dangerous for the long-term survival and success of your website!

The process is really quite simple: Research, read, and learn. Then write an article of your own explaining what you have learned. That’s it! You don’t have to be a great writer who produces polished novels, you simply have to be able to get your points across.

If you simply cannot write (or have no desire to try), there are thousands of high-quality articles available on the web on virtually ANY topic that are free for the taking. All that’s
usually required is a link back to the author’s site in a short “bio” section at the end of the article.

There are many websites on the Internet that offer tons of these “free content” articles. Just do a Google search for “free content”.
